Formula auto update settings

Say I have 2 workbooks. When I create a formula in WB2 to obtain data from WB1, if they are open on my desktop, it looks like this: =`[WB1.xlsx]Sheet1!some cell reference
If I were to save&close WB1 the formula in WB2 suddenly changes to c:(some drive path)[WB1.xlsx]Sheet1!somecell reference.

Where is the setting to prevent that from automatically inserting that drive path when I close a workbook?
