Hi

I have a column (B). I just want to put a random number between 1 and 9 in each of the cells in column B

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Excel Facts

Create a chart in one keystroke
Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
That worked fine.

One other thing In cell A I have a long number. How can I add the random digit in Column B to the end of the long number in column A. I can use Column C for the new number.

EG. Column A says '123456'. Column B says '9'. I want column C then to say 1234569

Thanks

Craig

To make it text
=A1&B1

If you want to convert it to number format.
=(A1&B1)+0
