Formula for Sales Pace in Excel

Hi - I'm trying to create a formula to automatically create a monthly sales pace in excel. I have one product that has a sales pace of 0.5 per month but it's impossible to see half of a product in a month. How do I create a formula so that using the example above it would so a sale in month 1, no sale month 2, a sale in month 3 etc, instead of .5 sales per month?

I'm using a sumif formula right now. I'm pulling from a table which has a sales pace forecast and the result is below.

this is a sales projection. If the sales projection is set at 0.5/month then the desired result would be to show 1 sale in month 1, 0 sales in month 2, 1 sale in month 3 etc. There would be one sale shown every other month. If the sales projection was .25 then it would should one sale every 4 months.
