formula help needed

Hi,
I need help,

I need a formula to do the following:

If cell B2 & C2 are not blank then enter .5 into cell else enter value of cell A2

Both cell B2 & C2 must contain something (text or number) to have the .5 entered, if only one cell contains (text or number) then the value of cell A2 needs to be entered.

A formula like
=IF(COUNTA(B2,C2)=2, .5, A2)

should work.
