Team, i am looking for two formulas that can do this simple tasks. After all calculations are done a number appears in column AB from top to bottom for every row. This number could be from 150 to 200 which needs to be assigned a letters "CE",71 to 149 which needs to be assigned the letter "M" or if this number is between 0 to 70 needs to be assigend the letters "FS".

What i need is to put in column AC1 the formula that can take a look at number in AB1, determine if base on the number should be assigned CE, M or FS and write it in AC1.

Also at the end of the column i would like a formula that can log how many CE, M and FS were listed.

Hey team thanks and this is a great Site for learning !!!

Excel Facts

Create a Pivot Table on a Map
If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).
Also:

In AC1 enter:

=INDEX({"FS","M","CE"},MATCH(AB1,{0,71,150}))

Using countif it is possible to count only those answers that are in the visible rows?

I fail to see any relation between your original question and countif plus visible rows. Care to elaborate?
