Hi there! Just a basic one, I'm sure, but it's driving me NUTS!

I'm trying to copy a formula down from one cell and have it change just the column letter in the next. Here's my formula.
='Month Ends'!N$52
Next cell should be
='Month Ends'!O$52
and so on.

Please help. Thank you!

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
Hi Harquor

In A1:

=INDEX( 'Month Ends'!$52:$52,1,ROW()+13)

If you are not starting in A1 please adjust the number.

Hope this helps

Wow! That was quick!

I'm a little new at excel so adjusting this is beyond me. The cell I'm putting the formula in is F10. Could you tell me how to make the adjustments so I can fill in other cells too?

Thank you!

Hi again

The second parameter of the index tells you the column you are referencing.

Since you want to start at column N that is column 14 (check).

If you started at A1, you were starting at row 1 and so you had to add 13 to get to N.

Now you already start at row 10 so you just have to add 4.

In F10
=INDEX( 'Month Ends'!$52:$52,1,ROW()+4)

Remark: You could start in any cell in row 10 and the formula would be the same.

Hope this solves your problem
