How do I create a formula that counts how many digits in cells AF1, AG1 and AH1 have digits 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4.

AH1=6
AG1=4
AF1=0
AP1=returns a result of 2,
because 0 and 4 in the AG and AF cells are within 0 and 4.
Thanks

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
A bit cumbersome, I know, but this should do it:

=SUM(COUNTIF(AF1:AH1,0),COUNTIF(AF1:AH1,1),COUNTIF(AF1:AH1,2),COUNTIF(AF1:AH1,3),COUNTIF(AF1:AH1,4))
