can someone modify excel formula to display a different text instead of the formula it self?
for example if have this formula
=A1&CHOOSE(A1,"st","nd","rd","th")
and i want it show word like apple in the formula bar but doing the function of my formula.
if this is possible ,someone should help me out please
I'm knew to excel i knew nothing about programming

Excel Facts

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
You could use a named formula for that. Use the Name Manager (XL2007 onward) create a name called apple, and in the refersto box enter your formula. Then in the cell, use =apple.
Not sure I see the point though.
