Formula needed (Convert Date)

12/16/2017 to read 171216 or
1/4/2017 to read 170104

=TEXT(A1,"yymmdd")

The following formula will give you a real Excel date -- format it any way you like:

=--TEXT(--A1,"#-00-00")
