Hi everyone,
we are working with data that is caculated to a very exact time
as you know, excel records time as a number
my problem is the times are not exactly as they apear and i need to be able to relyably find these times
what i mean is just one example but my down loaded data has both
0.291666666666901
and
0.291666666666667
and when formated as time they both show up as "07:00:00" and I want them both to be the same time.
i'm happy to run a macro or add a new column with a formula in it that sorts this out but how can i standardis this data so all times that show up as the same time have the same number in the background
the coulmn i'm working on is Column A
please help if you can as i've no idea how i can move forward otherwise
thanks
Tony
