I’m looking to see if there is a formula which will look up the target figure in Column B, Cell 1, 2, 3 etc and provide a £ value in column C, Cell 1, 2, 3 etc based on the % consequences (below the table).

The figures in Colum C are my manual calculations, I just wondered whether there was a formula that could calculate this automatically?

Column
A
B
C
CellBudget
Target 95%
Consequence
1£17,244.15
70%
£862
2£16,323.21
89%
£816
3 £25,868.04
93%
£517

• 95-100% no consequence

• 90-95% = 2% of allocated budget

• Less than 90% = 5% of allocated budget

Regards,

John

For values in cells A1 and B1, place this formula in cell C1 and copy down for all rows:
Excel Formula:
=IF(B1<90%,A1*5%,IF(B1<95%,A1*2%,0))
