I'm a newbie and require assistance with the following:

Cell A1 will contain the amount of days a person has worked and will be maual input. Cell B1 will calcualate annual leave due to a person on the basis of 1 day for every 17 days worked, so data in B1 must increase by 1 or part of it every time A1 increases by 17 or part of it.

Thanks

Does this work?
Code:
=A1/17
E.g 34 days = 2 days holiday
<TABLE style="PADDING-RIGHT: 2pt; PADDING-LEFT: 2pt; FONT-SIZE: 8pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial,Arial; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffffff" cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 border=1><COLGROUP><COL style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold; WIDTH: 30px"><COL style="WIDTH: 56px"></COLGROUP><TBODY><TR style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold; FONT-SIZE: 8pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #cacaca; TEXT-ALIGN: center"><TD> </TD><TD>A</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 19px"><TD style="FONT-SIZE: 8pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #cacaca; TEXT-ALIGN: center">1</TD><TD style="TEXT-ALIGN: right">34</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 19px"><TD style="FONT-SIZE: 8pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #cacaca; TEXT-ALIGN: center">2</TD><TD style="TEXT-ALIGN: right">2</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

hi and welcome to the board

in B1 use the formula:

Code:
=Int(A1/17)

the int function stands for integer, and waits until there are 17 days so that 17/17 = 1
