Hi Again

My last query was resolved so quickly I'm hoping this great community can do teh same again.

I am trying to create an order workability column. Based on various criteria I need this column to display either "TBC", "N/A" (text not error #N/A), "Workable", or "Awaiting Source".

The criteria is:

If AW6 = "Not Required", return text "N/A"
OR
If AW6 = "In Progress" or "Issue", return text "TBC"
OR
If AW6 - "Required" AND BE6 = "In Progress" or "Issue" return "Awaiting Source"
OR
If AW6 - "Required" AND BE6 = "Complete" or "Ingested" return "Workable"

Is this doable?

Many thanks in advance!

Hilary

Excel Facts

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
Maybe something along these lines:

VBA Code:
=IF(AW6="Not Required","N/A",IF(OR(AW6="In Progress",AW6="Issue"),"TBC",IF(AND(AW6="Required",OR(BE6="In Progress",BE6="Issue")),"Awaiting Source",IF(AND(AW6="Required",OR(BE6="Complete",BE6="Ingested")),"Workable"))))

This formula will return false if none of the conditions are met.

This works brilliantly, thanks
