Formula to return value of adjacent cell if cell is 1

Hello,

I have the following table in columns

A, B ,C

I would like the formula that will be in 'E1' to return the cell in column 'A' if the cell is '1' in column 'C'.

So for example the formula would return 'DDR3' as its '1,600 MHz'

Can't seem to find how to search the range and then return the adjacent cells.

No guarantees it will work but you could try

=lookup("zzz",index($a$1:$a$100,match(1,$c$1:$c$100,0)))

Merged cells are always going to mess things up and I can't test the formula on a screen capture.

Awesome, as far as i can tell it returned DDR3 and it works!

(I unmerged Column A)
