Hello Everyone,

The intention of the following formula was to take a fixed set of units and spread them evenly based on a start date - successful. Next, I have been unsuccessful in figuring out a means by which to take the same formula and enhance it by spreading the value into non-sequential months. In other words, adding a parameter to spread the values every 3 months and then stop based on an end date.

Any assistance would be greatly apprecaited.

Thanks

=IF(AND(V$2>=$Q3,V$2<EDATE($Q3,$B$4)),$K3/$B$4,"-")

Excel Facts

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
If you add months to skip as a variable in cell G4, following formula would work (formula is for cell K8 but you can copy it across).

Excel Formula:
=IF(AND(K$7>=$G8,K$7<=EDATE($G8,$G$1*$G$4),ROUND(MOD(YEARFRAC($G8,K$7),($G$4/12)),4)=0),$F8/$G$1,"-")

Sorry, it's not months to skip but months to spread, so as per your example, you would put 3 in cell G4
