i would like to set up a formula for example
if g2 is less or more then 65% system to give me a + or - sign and the percentage

### Excel Facts

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
Try this formula:

=IF(ABS(G2)>0.65,IF(G2>0,"+","")&TEXT(G2,"0%"),"")

NO IT DOSN'T WORK

It worked for me.

What do you have in cell G2? Is it a whole number (eg 66) or a decimal number (eg 0.66)?

THIS IS HOW MY TABLE LOOKS LIKE

LINE ITEM # DESCRIPTION RSRV AVAIL QTR 4 PERCENTAGE
1 215388-GB ALICIA 11" HURRICANE W/CND 900 332 492 54.67%
2 301152 RoseCut 6" Bowl Photo Gift 1100 720 312 28.36%

What would you expect to see for 54.67%?

What would you expect to see for 74.67%?

What would you expect to see for negative percentages?

FOR 54.67 I WOULD LIKE TO SEE -10.33
FOR 74.67 I WOULD LIKE TO SEE + 9.67

I WANT TO SEE WITH + OR - SIGN

Use this (much simpler) formula:

=G2-0.65

and format as:

+0.00%;-0.00%

YES WORKS NOW YOU ARE GREAT
