I want to show a value of 1 in L4 by using the IF function as seen below, this works if i type 24 into K4 but if i copy and paste from another Excel book or import as CSV file as text the formula does not work, realy confused can any one help please?

Yes i understand now when i originally wrote the formula it was =IF(K4="BP",1,0) but i have changed the coding we use from alphabetical to numerical, thank you again
