I have a sheet where I enter a start time the next cell looks up a finish time normally associated to that time using a simple vlookup.
I however on a few occassions need to overide the returned value which is no problem as i just enter it .
The problem is if the user then changes the start time I want the original lookup to function BUT the manual input will have erased the formula.
How can i refresh the formula if the original cell changes (not just active because because just navigating past the cell would trigger otherwise)
My thoughts are to hold the formula in a hidden or white on white cell and paste it back automatically .
I am not good at VB as im still getting to grips with excel.
Any geniuses wanna solve it :-)
