Just a quick question on how to write a formula?

I have a spread sheet and say cell A1 have the word NEW in it and cell B1 has the word NEW in it as well. How can I write the formula to leave cell A1 blank if cell B1 is populated with the same word? and my formula will have to be in B1. Any help would be apprecialted and I have excel 2007.

thanks

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
Basically, you can't create a formula that will leave A1 blank, and have that formula located in B1.

You can create a formula in A1, that will leave A1 blank if B1 is populated.
BUT, what do you want to do if B1 is NOT populated ?
