Why can I not access funcres.xla, it is password protected? Is this for my own good?

Excel Facts

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
funcres.xla is the addin that supports thew analysis tool pack. It is, in general, a good thing that you can't access it 'cos you'dd risk messing up with the various analysis tool pack functions (edate() etc).

The fact that you cannot access the file does not mean you can't use the contents!
