Fv function

So I've been trying to calculate my FV after 1 year and I have rate, nper & pv but don't have pmt. It says filling the pmt filed is necessary but in an example I watched earlier, he did it with just pv and left pmt filed empty and it was ok for him. Exel didn't give him same error as mine.
When I downloaded his own file, it was ok with my excel and didn't bring up any error but then again I tried to do the same thing( even copy paste it!) and the erorr came up. Look at ex4.

Any idea why? or how can I calculate fv without pmt?

You should be able to leave PMT blank or enter 0 for it'
