Generate report from Access Database

1. Table shown on the attachment is a HR report needs to be generated every week.
2. This report basically gives the management Dept wise and Desig wise headcount details.
3. The backup data for this report is maintained inAccess 2007.
4. I have more than 100,000 records in the Access database.
5. Since the databse has got more than 100,000 records, its difficult to import to Excel.
6. And it takes hours to complete this report for me.
7. Is there a way where in I can count the numbers in Access itself and populate the same in excel
8. Is ther any better way to do this or any Macro/formula/Function, where in I can automatically populate this report every week.

Have you considered exporting the Access Report as a .CSV file. This is readable in Excel and the line limitation is not effected. There is no attachment to this thread. Suggest you explain specifically what you want to do in Access and post it to the Access forum here. You can probably get your results using the Query Object in Access.
