I'm trying to work out how to get the hour time range of a time value - my values are formatted as Custom "dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm".

In my example, the value is 09/12/2022 14:21 so the result I would expect is 14-15, (i.e. between 2pm and 3pm).

I don't mind if this is achieved by a formula or VBA, if someone can start me off please?

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
Try something like this:

VBA Code:
Sub GetTheTime()

Dim datD As Date
Dim strT As String

datD = Now
strT = VBA.Format(datD, "HH")

End Sub
