Getting Middle Value from text

Hi All,
Im looking for a way to be able to get the text between two characters.

E.G 6508005-BATH.JPG

The value i want to get is BATH but as other fields have longer and shorter names e.g KIT & WALLS so as the values will always be between the "-" and the "." is there a way to do this...

=MID(A1,FIND("-",A1)+1,FIND(".",A1)-FIND("-",A1)-1)
