I am getting a REF# error with a GetPivotData formula. I haven't gotten it in the past so concerned since the report that it feeds is due today.
I am looking right at the table and have selected the exact cell with data in the table and getting the REF#. All of the components are in the table with same formatting so do not understand why all of a sudden I am getting this error.
Please let me know what else could cause this error to be returned.

Excel Facts

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
From Help on GETPIVOTDATA:

If pivot_table is not a range in which a PivotTable report is found, GETPIVOTDATA returns #REF!.
If the arguments do not describe a visible field, or if they include a page field that is not displayed, GETPIVOTDATA returns #REF!.

For further help we would need to see you pivot table and GETPIVOTDATA formula.
