Hi there guys,

I am currently working on a project with data for 7 different variables. Each variable has its unique set of parameters that we considered "acceptable" or "good". To make it easier on us when analyzing this data we have applied conditional formatting to these cells using just three basics colors: Green, Orange, and Red.

Now, I want to create a chart based on the number of entries that has conditional formatting for each of those colors, and of course, I want to do it for each variable.

I already have the parameters but I don´t know how to do this.

For example, for each variable, I want to know the number of entries in Green, Orange, and Red.

Thoughts?

I would love if I could do this without any coding or script as I am not very good at that.

Cheers!!

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
To make it easier, this is what I have...

The simplest method is probably to use COUNTIFS formulas based on the same conditions you set for the conditional formatting.
