Right folks, you've never let me down before....

I have a graph that I need to make. it's a stacking bar graph, one value on the other. Data laid out as so

April May June
Actual CoS 20 30 15
Actual Margin 5 10 7
Budget CoS 19 33 21
Budget Margin 6 12 10

I followed the wizard for the stacking one, but that stacked all four on top of each other. What i want is the 2 actuals stacked, and the 2 budget stacked next to it, within the month.

I'm running excel 2003 if that's any help too!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Lotus Cars.

Excel Facts

Enter current date or time
Ctrl+: enters current time. Ctrl+; enters current date. Use Ctrl+: Ctrl+; Enter for current date & time.
try inserting some columns and offsetting the results a bit, leaving some blank cells in your data table too:

April actual - April budget - May actual - May budget etc
20 - blank - 30 - blank etc
5 - blank - 10 - blank etc
blank - 19 - blank - etc

Arrange your data like this:
Excel Workbook
NOPQRSTUV
3April ActualApril BudgetMay ActualMay BudgetJune ActualJune Budget
4CoS Actual203015
5Margin Actual5107
6CoS Budget193321
7Margin Budget61210
Sheet1

... make the Gap 0%. Alter series colours to match, and change any text that you don't like.
