I have a pic on which I added some arrow / circle object to draw people attention on some area. However excel treat them as separate objects when the background pic moves the other do not follow. Can they be linked together ?

Thanks

Have you tried "Grouping" them?

Hold down the shift key and select the individual pics / shapes. Right click on one of the selected shapes and select "Group" from the popup menu.

I tried grouping a picture and a couple of shapes and it worked for me (XL2007). Maybe your picture is a linked file? Mine was not.

Hi Gary,

Sorry it's mt fault. Grouping works, it makes the shapes and image moving down together when adding new lines. I did the test wrongly. Thanks for helping.
