Hello,

I need help grouping data in multiple pivot tables. I have a large excel file where the first tab consists of the entire data section. The subsequent tabs all pull data from the "data section" tab to produce pivot tables and graphs. there are multiple pivot tables within the workbook.

The issue I'm having is that when I use the group function in excel to group two column headings - all the other pivot tables in the workbook that have the same column heading name, as the one binge grouped, group as well.

For example,

Pivot Table 1
Catagories
Values A B
1 Dog Cat
2 Lion John

If I want to group column A and B in the above table - all the other pivot tables in my worksheet that contain the same categories will also group.

what I want is for only the columns in one pivot table to group.

I will really appreciate any help on this.

thanks,
