Grouping / ungrouping for protected workbooks

I have found some code that allows me to group and ungroup the columns and rows of multiple protected sheets in my workbook. Every time I close and reopen the book the code will not run and a password is requested. Can anyone please help point me towards code that will solve this problem. I am a real amateur at coding so its needs to be simple step by step
