HELLLLLLPPPPP! - Excel is locked up

I have several reports open in Excel right now. Two are extremely important and I have made changes to them. I was working in Business Objects and exported a report into Excel. Business Objects locked up and I had to close it. Excel semi-locked up. I can scroll up and down the report and access the help dog, but when I click on ANYTHING else, it just makes a ding sound and won't select. I can't save or make any changes. I really don't want to use the task manager to end the session without saving. Can anyone help?
