I currently have an access database that is linked to a another data source and they mirror each other. I have spread sheets that access this information and i was curious if it's possible to have the Access Data source updated/refreshed "Real Time". I normally had to generate the list by running a query every time changes have occurred. now that i have my access database i'm curious as to how i should configure the data source. (The Data Source contains data, that can and will change on random/dynamic intervals.)

Thanks.

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.
I have workbooks with tables linked to a Microsoft Access database that, in turn, has links to other data sources. The link in Excel is to an Access Query.
The data can be refreshed in many ways such as on opening the workbook, using a button and VBA or just setting the connection properties to automatically refresh every 'n minutes'.
The latter can be set using the 'Connections' button on the Data tab.
