Thanks, if there's a sample in mdb much better.

Please...

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
There was a query example at the end of info on the link I showed.

Here's a tutorial on DLookup, but the sample is using a Form.

Sir i ask you this is my problem in query. I don't know if the DLOOKUP formula is fit to this.

Table1
Code Description
COD1 MORNING
COD2 AFTERNOON
COD3 EVENING

Table2 "where i encode the codes"
Name Day1 Day2 Day3 Day4 Day5
RONI COD1 COD3 COD2 COD1 COD3
JOMS COD3 COD1 COD2 COD3 COD1

QUERY "Where i want to show up the description, comparing form Table1 codes"
Name Day1....... Day2..... Day3.......... Day4..... Day5.....
RONI MORNING. EVENING AFTERNOON MORNING EVENING

Sir can you give me idea or teach me what formula i should use to get the out put in a query.

Many thanks.

Please anyone can give me some tips...

Thanks,
It is unclear as to what it is you are really trying to do. Perhaps you could describe your environment and what you are trying to do in plain English --not Access or vba. It appears to me that Table2 is NOT NORMALIZED. If your table structures and relationships are not normalized, you will have continuing trouble with queries etc.

It appears that Table1 is a simple lookup table.
Table 2 seems to deal with People/Objects (eg RONI, JOMS..) and some repeating group
(eg Day1 Day2 Day3...). This repeating group is the heart of your problem.

What does Table2 represent? Could be appointment, shipment?????
