Hi!

Heres a description of what i'm doing and what i need help with.

I have a configuration page where a person can choose

# of stations at theatre (this is each station listed in one different column) This is where i'm stuck.

# of cash drops needed for a day at theatre (this is # of rows they need) I have this one figured out how to hide and show based on the number they type

WHAT i want to do is if they say they need only 2 stations (lets say)

Is then hide a section say.. b7: to H10 ... if i hide the whole column then i'll lose crucial other things in rows down that are on the same column.

Is there any way at all to hide a section of cells like above? :(

Excel Facts

Copy PDF to Excel
Select data in PDF. Paste to Microsoft Word. Copy from Word and paste to Excel.
well looking around it doesnt seem possible.

via vba am i able to set row and column height of say A1 to zero though? and then if false set it back to my original heights?

or i saw something about three semicolins via custom.. is there a way to do that to hide cells and show cells via macro?

Code:
;;;

you could always use conditional formatting to change those cells you want hidden to have a white font, then they are no longer visible but the data on rows beneath it is still visible.

thank you! but i would need those cells to be at a width of 0 more importantly... since i'd have some more columns to the right of them :/
