I am trying to save my active workbook as a CSV file that is read-only.
I have the following function, but it does not make the file read-only with the password 1234. Why is that?
ActiveWorkbook.SaveAs "C:\Test\" + Filenamer, xlCSV, , 1234, True
EXCEL Help says:
expression.SaveAs(Filename, FileFormat, Password, WriteResPassword, ReadOnlyRecommended, CreateBackup, AddToMru, TextCodePage, TextVisualLayout)
Is the read-only function not applicable to CSV file formats?!?
