I am trying to write a LEN formula in E2. What I want to find is that
If LEN B2>1, YES = B2, No = LEN A2>1, YES = A2, No = LEN D2>1, YES = D2, No = LEN C2>1, C2

Basically I want to look up the Buyer in this order:
Buyer B then Buyer A then Buyer D then Buyer C.

Please help/Advice!

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Aladin.

Result should say 700.

In words, I want to find the LEN of the value saying that
if Value of Buyer B is greater than 1, If it is true = Output value of Buyer B,
if it is not true then do LEN statement If value of Buyer A is greater than 1, If it is true = Output value of Buyer A, If it is not true then do LEN for Buyer D>1, if it is true = Output value of buyer D, if it is not true = then do LEN for Buyer C>1

Does it make sense?

So just change njimack's formula!!
Rich (BB code):
=IF(B2,B2,IF(A2,A2,IF(D2,D2,IF(C2,C2,"No buyer"))))
