If I have a selection of numbers either 1, 2 or 3 in column A1 to A100, and I want to count how many rows of numbers there are rather than adding the contents, what formula do I use?

Try

=COUNT(A1:A100)

That's what I thought but it isn't counting everything... It's counting 13 when I have 61 occuppied cells...

Perhaps you have numbers stored as text. In B1 copied down does

=ISNUMBER(A1)

return True for all of the "numbers"?

try CountA() instead of just count()

Nope, not working... this is ridiculous, so easy but it's not working...
