Help needed in time formula

Hi,

I have value in minutes, i.e.4:38 (This is an average time to complete a transaction).

I would like to calculate, in one hour how many transactions are possible to complete.

This is a simple calculation but unable to perform.

Please help.

Excel Facts

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
Also, when i copy this value 4:38 into excel , it is converting to date format, please advice how to change the cell format to hours, minutes and seconds.....

Click in the cell, press CTRL + 1, Click Time and select one of the Time formats.
