Help on a conditional formula

Thanks in advance for your assistance on this. I have a worksheet where column A contains the last names of persons. Column J is formatted for a date and contains a date that a letter is sent. What I need is a conditional formula that would highlight the J cell if it is blank (ie, contains no date) and the A cell has a name in it. I know how to do the format for the highlight once I have the formula created. Again, thanks for your assist!!

=AND(NOT(ISBLANK(A2)),ISBLANK(J2))
