Help on Retaining the Width of cell

Hi Team,

I'm so noob when it comes to excel cell settings. I cannot lock the width of the cell. In a pivot table I wanted to retain the width of the column. Because I've seen some pivot report even collapsing the table the column width doesn't move.

I need your help thanks.

Depending on the veriosn of Excel you are using but in 2007 if you right click on the pivot table and choose pivot table options and then remove the tick under LAyout & Format that says Autofit columns on update - this should stop the beghaviour you describe.
