Help on sumproduct Formula

Hi all

I am trying to work with the Sumproduct formula and need a little bit of help as it is not work right.

=SUMPRODUCT(AND(RD_PMC_Dates>=L21,RD_PMC_Dates<=M21)*1)

The formula above is trying to return the count of dates in the named range 'RD_PMC_Dates' which are above greater than or equal to the date in L21 AND Less than or equal to the date in M21
