help pausing macro

i have a workbook that autoruns a macro when it opens. But i have a workbook that links to it also, when this particular workbook opens that file i dont wont it to autorun the macro, i used to know the command line to make it not run? any help

Before opening the file:

Application.EnableEvents = False

Set it back to true when done.
