I have customer templates that uses information from VLOOKUPs on other worksheets in the same workbook. On the customer template, I have a column that has a price effective date. I am trying to get this column to look in 3 places based on what each cell has and am not sure how to do it.

Currently I have the price effective date on the customer template looking at 2 columns - here is the formula I currently have: =VLOOKUP(P51,'Master Price Sheet'!$C$1:$Q$20967,8+(VLOOKUP(P51,'Master Price Sheet'!$C$1:$Q$20967,8,0)=0),0)

This is what I need it do - I sent you a screen shot of my 3 columns with 2 samples of how it looks.
The Effect Date (column 10)is the date currently in the system.

The New Effect Date (column 9)is the price increase date =VLOOKUP(G:G,'Product List - % Increase'!$D$35:$F$1099,3,FALSE)

The Price Protection Date (column 8)is the effective date configured based on the # of days we have given each customer with a price protection =VLOOKUP(B:B,'Price Protection'!$A$2:$Q$277,17,FALSE)

I need the formula to say - if the new effective date is 1/01/1900 (0) use the effect date. If the new effective date is greater than 1/1/1900 (0) use the price protection date.
