help to understand these formulas

hello Guys,

so I was given this sheet but I don't know how these formulas are done, and I need help to understand it and do the same sheet on my own

the formulas are in: 1) cell E1 =+AEE!E1
2) cell E2: =VLOOKUP(D2,INDIRECT("'"&$E$1&"'!$C$1:$E$63"),3,0)

 

[Fluff]

E1 is simply pulling the the value of E1 from a sheet called AEE
E2 is looking up the value in D2 in col C on a sheet called 29 (E1 value) & returning the value from col E on that sheet.
