Hey there,

Context: I want to remove the top and bottom 3% of outliers from the AVERAGE V7 of a YouTube channel that has "BR" in its name

Excel keeps wanting to multiply the trimmean and my averageif function together..... how can I edit it to *NOT* do that?

Excel Facts

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
Try...

=TRIMMEAN(IF('YT DATA'!$AL$3:$AL$1123='YT oct V7 V30 AVB'!A2,'YT DATA'!$K$3:$K1123),'YT oct V7 V30 AVG'!C2)

..confirmed with CONTROL+SHIFT+ENTER. Note, however, since you have Office 365, there's no need to confirm with CONTROL+SHIFT+ENTER.

Hope this helps!
