Hi all,

I am looking for a single formula that does the following steps:
1. Number (cost) * percentage (fee 1)
2. Number (cost) - Number (answer from formula #1)
3. Number (answer from formula #2) - Number (fee 2)

I am not sure how to write that formula within excel.

Thanks,
Adam

Excel Facts

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
Assuming your cost is in A1 and fees 1 and 2 are in B1 and C1, respectively:

=(A1-(A1*B1))-C1

Welcome to the board.

Try

=A1*(1-B1)-C1

A1 = Cost
B1 = Fee 1
C1 = Fee 2

Thanks Ezzard and Jonmo1. Both of these worked. I just couldn't wrap my head around it. Awesome.
