Help with combining IF statements.

I want the user to enter a number in cell c10. If the number is less than 10000 I want the value in C10 multiplied by 1.55. If the number in c10 is between 10001 and 29999 I want the value in c10 to be multiplied by 2.15. If the value in c10 is between 30000 and 49999 I want the value in c10 to be multiplied by 3.12. Lastly if the value in c10 is greater than 50000 I want it to be multiplied by 4.23.

Here is an If statemnet that handles only the firtst part of my quesiton.
=IF(C10<9999,C10*1.55)
DO I just make multiple If statements and somehow combine them? If so how do I do the between (ie 10001 - 29999) values?

Create a lookup table with the lower limit in the first column and the multiplied value in the second column.

Or, do to it in one cell,
=C10*VLOOKUP(C10, {0,1.55;10001,2.15;30000,3.12;50000,4.23},2 )

Assuming a lower limit of 0 for your data.
