I'm using excel 2007 and trying to use dropdown lists to fill in a table of data. I want it set so that when the item is chosen from the list the next two columns of the table are automatically completed with a unit price and a category code. This will make the data easier to handle later in the year.

I am a newcomer to the forum and I'm pretty inexperienced with Excel 2007.

Please go gentle on me!!:eeek:

Excel Facts

Pivot Table Drill Down
Double-click any number in a pivot table to create a new report showing all detail rows that make up that number
Thanks Smitty!!

Almost sorted!! When I do this it works fine but doesn't change the unit price every time only when my category changes. Any ideas?
