Hi,

I have a list of products (column A) with corresponding prices in a second column (column B).

What I am trying to achieve, is that if create a list of products in data validation- then select particular product from column A, then in column B the price should automatically appear relating to the product that I have selected.

Any suggestion?????

That's an odd use of SUMIF, Biff.

It seems to me that if the same product appears multiple times on the price list, it's unlikely that the correct price is the sum of the prices.

I can't think of a good reason why a price list would have multiple instances of the same product.

How about we wait to hear back from the OP to see if that's a possibility?
