I have the following line in my spreadsheet:

=IF(MATCH(B6,UnitDetails!A10:A109,0),"Found","Not Found")

If a match is found it does show "Match". If a match is not found, it shows #N/A

Could someome please tell me what I am doing wrong.

Thanks.

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
Hello,

How about

=IF(ISERROR((MATCH(B6,UnitDetails!A10:A109,0))),"Not Found","Found")

Working now

Thanks onlyadrafter,

I was trying to find a way to use a match command to test whether the data matched data from another worksheet. I thought there should be a way of doing this without resorting to using ISNA as a default value for not found, but it is short and simple and does the trick.

Thanks.
